How cooked is this tomato plant; could I still transfer it to a bigger pot?

A family member bought this tomato plant (Mr. Stripey is what the label says) back in April. I didn’t have a large enough pot at the time and its current one was all I could get.  
I’ve got this larger pot now and was wondering if I could transfer it and maybe get tomatoes.

I would plant it in a bigger pot to encourage deeper roots and a stronger plant. Be careful of overwatering at first since the pot is so much bigger. My tomatoes do best in big deep pots or planter boxes
