# hellooo! i got a few basil plants here, and i have a few questions.…

hellooo!  
i got a few basil plants here, and i have a few questions.

1\) should i use fertilizer (i haven’t before)? if yes, what brand?

2\) should i repot? if yes, a terra cotta pots okay, or stick with plastic potting?

3\) should i begin pruning? if yes, where should i begin snipping?

if you have anymore suggestions, or common knowledge please let me know. thank you! :)

I usually use plastic pots for basil (they store water better), but i think terracotta would work. That’s really all i can say for sure 😭
