I’m starting some seeds today. This is my first time attempting to grow them and then plant them versus buying them and planting them so any advice is welcome, especially how often I should be watering these. In this batch, I have yellow watermelon two types of cherry tomatoes, peppermint, and rosemary.

I’m not sure if it’s just the picture but the soil looks a bit dry. I keep my seed starting tray covered to keep it moist and on a heat mat. Creates a mini greenhouse effect and I’ve had a lot of success that way.
