# Okay so I’m getting back into gardening, and I need help figuring out…

Okay so I’m getting back into gardening, and I need help figuring out what’s going on with my baby! I live in Houston, Texas, so it can be fairly hot and humid. So I do water it often or when I see the bottom, where extra water is held, is empty! Any help is greatly appreciated 💚

I think it’s a 5 gallon!

Repot your tomato plant to a bigger pot minimum 5 gallon. I have mine in 10 gallon pots that i get from the local nursery for cheap. One teaspoon for a 5 gallon pot

These are 2 gallon pots or really 1 and a half

Your welcome. Just know tomato plants just like to have problems like the leaves yellowing. If your keeping them outside try to keep them in a semi shaded area for temps over 90°F

When you say the bottom where the extra water is held does that mean it’s sitting in water after you water it?

She’s doing so much better!! She even has new blooms!! I think this past week in Houston has just been either really rainy or really hot. Overall I think she’s feeling better! I have like A LOT of flowering happening! 🥰💚💚
