Hi, I am new here and especially to growing edible fruits/veggies. I am trying to grow a sweet southern cherry tree in a wine barrel and haven't had any fruiting. The first year it had some blooms (very few) but not any fruit.

During the winter, I brought it inside and kept it from the below 30s temperature putting it back outside when it was warmer. It has a tons of green leaves on it now but hasn't bloomed or anything. I've checked the soil pH and it seems to be at 6.5 which is recommended. Any suggestions?

this is a very young tree. they can take as long as 7 years to set fruit
