I think I’ve accidentally grown watermelon seedlings. These look similar to what I’ve searched up about watermelon seedlings, but I’ll be waiting to see them develops more. However, that’s not my question.  
I don’t have the large amount of space that I typically see watermelons growing on, so I was wondering if it would be possible for me to plant the main seedling(s) in a basic pot and just let the vines hang out on my concrete.

Also, please feel free admire my tomato plant below :)) it’s a cutting from a larger plant that I thought had failed. I’m very happy about my one tiny tomato

can totally just have a good 5gal pot and then let the vines crawl. i see some people have success with growing their watermelons on trellises, providing support for the fruit with pantyhose or other stretchy fabrics.
