I don’t have much of a green thumb but have always grown herbs in pots. I’ve had basil plants as big as bushes in the past but ever since I moved to central California I haven’t been able to get Basil to grow! I had it with other herbs in a sunny northeast facing window and it was dying so I moved it outside thinking sunlight was the issue. Now it looks like this! 😩 any suggestions appreciated!!

Are there drainage holes on the pot? Do you see any mites or aphids?  
I wonder if the climate is the issue, maybe Basil would fair better on a well lit windowsill, away from any air conditioning.

My Basil has been finicky this summer, because it’s very hot AND humid where I’m at.
