# First time ever planting a seed! Need some help, I put two of each…

First time ever planting a seed! Need some help, I put two of each chilli seed in the pots thinking they wouldn’t grow and now I was just wondering how to separate them? Or if I should let them grow together? (Left: jalapeño, Middle: cayenne, right: habanero) thanks in advance!

Just a tip if you are doing from seeds. Put in a damp paper towel and change the paper towel every day until you see a tiny root starting to come out.

You can untangle the roots away from the dirt easier in the sink if you wanna separate them. They will come apart easier without dirt but might get a little bit of transplant shock.
