Suggestions on starting oregano, thyme, and basil from seeds? My sprouts keep dying.

Sorry I’m not an expert. But I think you need to keep them in sun light and water when soil gets dry. Did you have the seeds in a damp paper towel to start the roots? If not you should try that.

Thank you, I will try sprouting them on a paper towel first before putting them in soil. I was starting them in damp soil on my back porch which gets a lot of sun during the day, maybe too much sun? The seeds would sprout and then quickly die.

My basil loves partial sun. Maybe but maybe not.
