Prickly Pear cactus pads can be very very easy to grow and thrive. Even here in Philadelphia zone 7 now, future zone 6.

In October 2020 I cut 1 pad from a neighbors plant that was hanging over the wall.

I now have 3 nice size pots that are full of pads.

This year was Pat Pelouze. It seemed like every pad had three pads and those three pads had three pads and so on and so on and so on.
