# I got this new plant baby and named her Jewel. I'm not sure if she's…

I got this new plant baby and named her Jewel. I'm not sure if she's a succulent or not, but I'm guessing she is. She probably isn't but I don't know where else put this post. She's a kalanchoe. Do I need to trim leaves and such? She looks a little full. If so, how much do I need to trim?

thats a flaming katy im not sure but i think shes a floral succulent

No need to trim the leaves, I normally don’t at least

Kalanchoe is definitely a succulent and in my opinion you should not trim any of those beautiful leaves off.

Flaming Katy! Looks like she's thriving. No need to trim. Water on a succulent schedule when the soil is completely dry.
