# How long does it take for a string of pearls to grow roots in water?…

How long does it take for a string of pearls to grow roots in water? Mine rotted on part of the string, so I cut the healthy part off, and put it in water because so many people said they had success growing roots in water for this particular plant. It’s been in water for over a week now, maybe two. I’m not quite sure. Any other tips are appreciated too! 😊🪴

I use hair pins to keep mine in contact with damp soil. Not soaked and a desk fan keeping the air flowing on that side of my room.
