# Hiya! Seeking advice to keep this guy looking his best Shock here…

Hiya! Seeking advice to keep this guy looking his best  
Shock here seems to generally be fine but he’s had that yellowish stalk in the middle for quite some time, it’s kind of flimsy/wobbly compared to the other stalks. It’s been growing well otherwise.  
Do I try to prune that yellow one, or do I just leave it be? I’ve never pruned any cacti so any advice is welcomed!

You can prune it if you would like. It seems to either have root rot or cold damage though. Maybe check the roots and remove all dead and dying parts
