Happy Saturday, everyone… I’ve had this cactus for a couple of years now just noticed this closer to the base . Would this be some type of rot? I hope not…

It is definitely not overwatered

Ok, will Google on what I should do?

If it's not squishy it may just be scarring/corking. I've had a couple of my cactus do that when they just weren't happy with something. Usually for mine it's been too much sun in my front window or bumping into the cold window.
