# Just replanted this little string of pearls and it is not doing well…

Just replanted this little string of pearls and it is not doing well any tips?

Looks like it may be overwatered. Took me three tries before I finally got the hang of these guys. They like very well draining soil and I only water when the “windows” on the pearls are closed and they start to look a lil pointed

I'm not sure what you mean by 'windows' but I agree they want to be on the dry side. You could also take that little bit that's hanging over the edge and lay it in the pot so that it will reroot up there and thicken the central portion of the plant.

I belive she means the transparent slit down them. It's a nice built in indicator

And one more thing you said it looks over watered do you let it just dry out or what would you do

Yes make sure the soil is mostly dry before watering.

Also the soil itself to me looks too dense… not like typical succus soil mixes… maybe try to replant to faster drying and less dense soil.
