# Hi. I have a cuddly cactus (cereus sp.). Planta is telling me to…

Hi. I have a cuddly cactus (cereus sp.). Planta is telling me to fertilize it but I am finding contradictory information online. It lives indoors by my south window and it does have a grow light around it (not really on top of it, it just gets some extra side light from other grow lights on top of the other succulents). Should I fertilize it or not?

I bought it that big. I has been with me maybe a year snd Maybe it has grown an inch. NYbe not. I find it beautiful but definitely a slow grower.

I fertilize my succulents with a type for succulents and cacti. It’s slow release and lasts for several months. I have not removed fertilizing from the Planta tasks. I just ignore it for my succulents and cacti. Because I discovered when you turn that task off, it will no longer adjust the watering schedule. Such as when you snooze a plant. Planta considers it “customized schedule”. I discovered my succulents weren’t adjusting when I “snoozed”. Contacted Planta and that was the reason.
