# Not totally sure what type this is and not sure if it’s supposed to…

Not totally sure what type this is and not sure if it’s supposed to be so tall? What should I do?!thanks!

Part of the succulent family for sure. He's just happy!! If you want it shorter just snip if off and plant. Succulents are resilient

Some succulents drop the lower leaves but I think yours is a little extreme. If you chop and prop, give it much more light. It needs sun. Plus that soil is not for succulents. Google “DIY succulent soil”. That will give you a better idea of what you need. Standard watering procedure is wait till soil is totally dry-the entire pot. Leaves may get slightly wrinkled and rubbery. Then drench with water until it exits the drain on bottom. Google “succulent care” for more help.
