He’s happy but getting really long 😅 what’s the best way to deal with this?

She’s stretching to reach the light. It definitely needs more light.

Full, 12+ hours of bright light and it’s still stretching? It should stay close to the base if it’s getting enough light. Just like the others said, cut off the top, let it callous and repot the top. Now you have two friends. 💕

i guess either pinch with your fingers or snip with a scissors

Sharp pruners, or anything sharp will do. After you cut, let it callous and place over some well draining soil. However, this plant really does need more light than what she’s getting. It should not be elongating like this. I only stress this out because she will eventually give up and drop dead on you 😔
