# New to plants and gardening, took a clipping of my family’s Jade…

New to plants and gardening, took a clipping of my family’s Jade plant when moving house and as you can see the little jade is slowly growing, however it has recently sprouted this leggy thing. I’m not quite sure what is going on or if it is from the same cutting. Any info on what I should do with it is greatly appreciated!

idk what the other thing is but its definitely a hitchhiker lol I’d pull it
