# Hi Im new and I was wondering whats the best cacti and succulent soil…

Hi Im new and I was wondering whats the best cacti and succulent soil to buy? I struggle with root rot a lot and Im starting to think its my soil because some plants are fine but others arent so lucky and Im tired of killing them. I use the miracle gro cacti and succulent soil. Some of my succulents thrive in it but others dont.

Hey there! I use organic succulent and cactus mix it’s on Amazon. So far it’s been good to mine. Try a lady finger cactus they seem well controlled and don’t need much water. Some of the fingers might droop so I’d suggest something like a small stake to hold them up so they won’t be stressed, they also need a lot of sun

I enjoy the Sol Soils one, but it is quite chunky and allows soil to essentially go straight through, so I add minimal all-purpose because I’m paranoid.🥴
