# Well, here is a question! I acquired a Thanksgiving Cactus about two…

Well, here is a question! I acquired a Thanksgiving Cactus about two weeks ago. It was “in the back” of a local plant store. I repotted it about a week ago, and it looks healthy. However, it is simultaneously dropping some random leaves (not all) AND showing two new flower buds. Do I fertilize it, monitor it and leave it, any tips?! I’m hoping the leaf drop is just repotting stress, but it confusing to have that along with the buds!
TIA!

I’m not great with these plants, but I’m learning as I go with my current one. I’ve had one for about four months now and when I brought it home, it looked really sad. It lost all its flowers and all its leaves were drooping. I learned online that it hates being touched and it hates being moved. I am just now starting to get new growth and everything‘s been perking up the last few weeks. I keep it grow light on mine for 10 hours a day since the first one that’s ever succeeding for me.

That’s really helpful! Thank you for sharing! I’m probably moving and touching the plant too much! 🤦🏼‍♀️
