Should I mist my Christmas cactus? I have more supplies coming in the mail but I’m still learning how to care for it.

Well…it’s kind of up to you to decide. Along with rhipsalis, schlumbergera is one of a few cactus/succulent genera that come from rainforests or otherwise humid locales. THey suggest misting as a way of increasing humidity for the plant, but the thing is, misting only increases humidity if you do it multiple times a day. So you can mist if you’d like, but you might be better served using a humidifier or putting it under glass. I personally have turned off misting entirely and my plants don’t seem to suffer. Except maybe my air plants 😜
