This succulent grew huge and then started turning brown and brittle.Need more water or did something else cause it?

How do the roots look? Could you add a picture?

Strong far reaching roots and just repotted today. I’m thinking it needed a larger pot. Thanks for replying 😎

No problem... how often do you water it?

Once a week

If it's a succulent than it may have died from root rot... I water my succulent about once every two weeks and it seems to be doing fine

It may be too late for recovery. Repot in dry soil with pearlite if there are still living roots \& trim off the dead top areas
