# Hey can someone help me my plant started to go funny and now it’s…

Hey can someone help me my plant started to go funny and now it’s quite soft I’ve reported it and it didn’t have many roots once I repotted it, it started to grow a few more roots but I still do know know to fix it or do I just have to give it time!  
I’m a new plant mum and I really hope I haven’t killed it!!

How often are you watering it?

I haven’t watered it in a month because google told me it was over watered and it has started to get less flimsy! I also changed it’s soil to some proper succulent soil and I’ve brought it a new larger pot that should arrive in a few days

Sometimes I feel succulent soil isn't draining enough on its own so I like to add extra perlite and chunks to it when I have it. Once a month is a good amount of time, i find its usually a soil issue if even that is intake is too much water. I bottom water so only the bottom half of the soil is absorbing water. Oh and i just wanted to add, ik its kinda late but eh. Ik its usually tempting to give a plant water after a repot, but if its already flimsy, id wait on the water fs. Let it stay dry longer to bounce back.
