I would say they’re pretty similar to other succulents. Lots of indirect light, well draining soil and allow them to dry out completely between watering. They don’t like the cold so no drafty spots!

They’re similar to Burro’s Tail in that they REALLY don’t like to be touched. Try to avoid touching them aside from repotting. As Kades mentioned above, they are draft sensitive. They like lots of sun, so I’d suggest putting one in your brightest windowsill. They’re also very sensitive to overwatering, and as they don’t like being touched (they will lose leaves if you touch them a lot, which is very tempting cause they’re fuzzy instead of prickly, but DON’T), it’s best to bottom water them rather than risk root rot or touching the leaves. I bought mine off an Etsy seller for about eight bucks, and I can give the seller if you’re interested. It came in great condition but bare rooted. No pot. If you want to buy one, I’d made sure you have a spot to put it in the summer, a spot to put it when it gets colder where it’ll still get enough sun, cactus mix with perlite, and maybe buy two, just in case one doesn’t survive the first time around. Hope this helps!

No problem! “Amerikaktus” on Etsy has one that’s already potted for 9 dollars. Just look up “Cotyledon tomentosa Bear's Paw 4”
