found this poor guy being completely neglected in a pound shop, roots are growing out the pot, soil is far too dry/crumbly. time to fix him!

looks really healthy! these don’t mind a bit of neglect, but i’m sure it will appreciate a new pot 😊💚

My ace hardware has a tray full of little succulents for $1-2 each and I have to will myself not to take them all home. Highly suggest Espoma’s Organic Cactus and Succulent soil mix if you’re looking for a brand to repot (not sponsored, lol, just please don’t use miracle grow’s succulent soil. It stays moist for way too long and will kill a succulent in days. Sadly speaking from experience on that 😔). It looks to be in really good shape! Best of luck with it!  
(And if you’re new to that type of jade, my tip is to bottom water them and put them in the brightest windowsill you’ve got, and rotate the plant a bit when you put it back in its spot so all the sides grow more evenly 😉)

I also rescued a crassula ovata like yours a couple of years ago and now it’s massive!! Looks like it’s got shrek ears 🤣
