# i just purchased this little guy from a grocery store. it looks like…

i just purchased this little guy from a grocery store. it looks like he was a bit overwatered while there (i haven't watered since i brought him home two days ago).

a few of his leaves were black in the soil, and one translucent one fell right off yesterday. today, i noticed that one of the leaves has started to become a bit translucent and is leaking a small amount of water near the base.

is there a better way i could help this guy out? i've just kept him under my lamp and put some paper towel under to encourage drying out, but it doesn't seem like there's any water trapped in the soil. is he chill for now?

My rule for my succulents is when I think I should water- I wait another week. Your succulent also could be stretching for the light, hence why it’s leaking water. Lots of sun, not a lot of water is good for these guys. Make sure your pot has a hole in the bottom as well. Let it rest and it should be good!

You can take him out of the pot and set is on a paper towel to dry up a bit before putting it back in
