# So, I have no idea how to care for this guy. I just follow the app.…

So, I have no idea how to care for this guy. I just follow the app. But today i noticed the stalk becoming more bark like and the very top has changed. The top has the most little spikes i have noticed and they seen to be angled inward. I am crazy to think this could flower? Or is it dying 🤦🏻‍♀️  
I have the most to learn w cacti. 🌵

Could be a number of things going on. As a cactus I’d imagine you should wait for pretty dry soil to water. I think it looks the type that will produce flowers when happy and thriving! Good luck with it!
