what is this plant? it’s at my mom’s house. it’s a succulent of some sort. having trouble figuring out what it is!

I know what you mean, but it started so small and got so large!! I thought it was sad too but it’s growing pretty quickly

All of those roots make me think it’s desperate for a repotting?

Some type of kalanchoe. It does not look like the panda plant I used to have but there could be other sub varieties. I wouldn't worry about those roots, they're rather normal.

You could probably propagate from a portion of the stem that has those roots.

My panda kalanchoe looked like that. It has since died but some propagates look like a typical panda plant
