I picked it up at my local garden center! Felt so lucky as they never had them prior!

How much light does it get??? Grow or natural?? Would it work in a SW window??

#### Lost Hyperion 🪴 replied on 2026-04-09

Gets full bright light for about 7 hours - i have it in a window that gets most of the morning \& evening sunshine

I have seen this cactus many of times but it I recently have added it to my list of wants. Super cool plant

I hope you find one soon! They are surprisingly heavy 😆

### Plant Dad commented on 2026-04-09

Heavy? Interested. Big root system or tje plant itself is heavy? I need to rearrange my balcony before I get anymore succulents or cacti lol

#### Lost Hyperion 🪴 replied on 2026-04-09

The cactus itself is quite heavy

This one shares a skylight with a rat tail cactus. It has battle wounds from a freak golf-ball sized hail storm 2 years ago and has been an indoor cactus ever since. Hard to kill! 🤘🏼
