# Any recommendations on how to help this little guy? I rescued him…

Any recommendations on how to help this little guy? I rescued him from a friend. I’ve had him for a week and have seen improvement on his top layers, I’ve got him on a strict watering schedule so that he’s not overwatered but does anyone have any suggestions on how to help his bottom half?

He needs a lot more sun

He’s reaching upward, which means that he is looking for son and he’s toppling over because of the amount of dead leaves on the bottom

Does the pot have drainage holes? I’d say repot too. Use cactus soil \& perlite. I would pull all the dead leaves off and cut the top half off. Propagate the leaves and repot the top. The stem will regrow plants and the top will continue to thrive. Keep it in full sun and don’t water until it’s completely dry.

You can take the top off, remove some petals from the bottom of the stem and place in water like this then place the petals in moist soil for lots more succulents to share.
