The first photo looks like mineral build up almost. The middle two photos look like corking to me! The last photo looks like it’s throwing new roots and corking a bit

Is something bad or good?

I feel stupid for asking this, but what is corking?
TIA for any return info…

Not necessarily! The excess mineral (buildup) is just the plant getting rid of what it can’t use. I have mineral heavy water too so I get quite a bit of this.

You’ll just want to make sure you’re top watering (if you don’t) to wash away excess mineral in the soil. Every 3-5 waterings I do a really good soak and let the water run clear out of the bottom.

The corking is just the plant stabilizing itself as it grows so nothing to worry about!

The last one with the roots you could take the whole section and make a new plant if you want to!

Looks like corking which is good for the plant to grow stronger :)
