# ummm, lil' herbert isnt lookin' too good...we went on a trip and came…

ummm, lil' herbert isnt lookin' too good...we went on a trip and came back to him being fine....but not anymore...  
We gave him a whole bunch of water and will see of he gets better throughout the day, will make sure to keep you guys updated! is he okay? is it something else than just being dehydrated?  
the first pic is him a few days ago, and the next is him now......  
thanks in advance for helping me with my poor lil' herbert! I've had him for so long (almost 2 years! 1 and a half if we're being exact) and I hope hes gonna be okay!

Is he getting all day, full sun?

should he be? i keep him on the window sill in the kitchen? does he need more sun or less?

Depends on which way your window is facing. They need about 6 hours of bright direct light a day.

its a northwest-ish facing window i beleive?

If he’s facing a north-west window he might not be getting enough light. While I don’t have that specific cactus, I do have one that I’ve had for about 6 years. Mine has always done best when he’s got full sun, and right now he’s in a south facing window sill where he get lots of direct light and loving it. I haven’t personally ever had an issue with him getting sunburnt.

Maybe check the specific for your type of cactus, but moving him to a brighter window might be a good idea.

That is the problem tho, bc I dont actually know what type of cactus he is...  
I've tried image search and asked on plant identification, and i still dont know what typenof cacti he is. do you know? i could just try moving him to a south facing window, but i dont know
