# Good Afternoon! Can anyone tell me if either one of these little…

Good Afternoon! Can anyone tell me if either one of these little succulent pieces are worth trying to save. Every time I plant in succulents soil, the root ends up on top. Thanks for letting me know if I’m wasting my time. I just hate to o throw away if I can save it.

You are not wasting your time! They will be beautiful one day!

Thank you! Why does the roots kept coming out.

It may be that they’re not deep enough and if you’re not watering after you plant, then the soil cannot settle on the roots and if the plant is too heavy, leaning on side, the roots may come up and I would recommend to use proper soil good luck if you need anymore tips just ask😁

Oh ok! I use a combination of potting soil, perlite, sand and bark. I will try again and make sure it gets water after a pot them. I love succulents but I don’t have a lot of luck with them. It’s my goal to master taking care of them. Thanks for your support.
