Hey plant fam

Epson salt works wonders as a fertilizer for succulents during the growing season  
And for my new succulent owners if your plant looks healthy but the leaves are just falling off your succulent is just trying to multiply!! 😊

While you are correct that succulents can grow new plants from dropped leaves, they don’t drop leaves to propagate on purpose. Leaves that fall of from animals bumping into them grow new plants. Which is just so cool!😊

Leaves that the plants drop on purpose are due to a problem for sure. Either a stress response, too little water, old leaves, or root rot. Unfortunately none of those leaves will grow baby plants.

Well, I guess I don’t know anymore than the next guy. But I do propagate a lot of leaves and that has been my experience. I have also heard that being others experience on here as well.
