Okay I need some advice…. My hens and chickens seem to be thriving. But the app is giving me red flags saying they need drainage holes. My nana had them in the ground and they don’t have drainage holes there and are thriving. So do they or not? 🤷🏻‍♀️

the "ground" has natural drainage by way of insects \& thicker root systems. i think these can survive in these outdoor pots but you will see a greater percentage of the plants get waterlogged and have leaf death. Since they grow like weeds maybe not a problem.

As long as you don't drench them in water when you water them. And yes the ground has big "drainage holes"

All pots need drainage holes. I've gotten really good at adding them - you just need an electric drill and a diamond boring bit (between 10 and 15mm).

Thanks for the tip!
