If that’s how it looks in different lighting, you might look into powdery mildew.

Ugg 😬 powdery mildew is the worse! If you have any other plants, keep them far away!

How do I get rid of it ?

spray it with a 1:1 ratio of hydrogen peroxide and water on a regular basis! no need to rub it in or anything, as doing so will take all the farina off. if you dont know, farina is basically the plants sunscreen that will easily come off if touched.

How can you tell it’s not pests that are causing that?

Because powdery mildew isn’t something that lives on animals
