# Hi, I’m looking for advice on whether or not to chop and prop my…

Hi, I’m looking for advice on whether or not to chop and prop my gollum jade. She grew from a single cutting and was looking so cute, but now her stems are getting heavy and weighed down.

I’m thinking I can separate her into 2-3 pieces and repot into a larger pot to have them grow more upright.

Would it be super traumatic to chop her right at the base? Any advice would be appreciated, TIA!

Most definitely needs repotting. I think she'll be fine if you split her..

Thanks! Yea I hear jades are pretty hardy, so I’m hoping even bigger pieces would root easily
