So I let my brother take care of my succulent while I was away for a bit and he gave it wayyy too much sun. Its leaves are really squishy and it's brown. How do I help it to recover?

I’d say just make sure it isn’t overwatered, and continue to give it the correct amount of light. Don’t fuss with it too much and keep your eye on it. 💚

I think you maybe have to wait for it to grow new leaves, they don’t like to be touched much

I would suggest you wiggle off the squishy ones so they don’t rot on the plant. But yes, I would put it back in its happy spot and keep an eye on it. Next time you are out of town, consider just leaving it at your home. Water it before you leave and walk away. They can go without water for a long time. I my whole family was gone for a month one time to help my mom move and my succulents were fine when I got back. ❤️

They are pretty hearty so it will probably be fine. 🥰

If you want to be sure to not lose it, you could wiggle off one if the good leaves on the bottom and lay it on some soil next to it to grow a back up plant. But I think this one will be fine.
