# This little guy has been growing like crazy over the last 2-3…

This little guy has been growing like crazy over the last 2-3 weeks—she’s grown almost 2 inches! I’m wondering if that is a bloom on the top of the plant? I’ve never gotten a succulent to bloom before, so I can’t wait to find out! 🤩

What’s that little contraption she’s in?

It’s a small terrarium with a built in grow light and fan that I bought on Amazon. It’s supposed to be good for growing succulents, but it may be too good because this guy is about to size out of it after 3 weeks! 🤣 I also have 2nd terrarium with a Venus Flytrap in it.

A terrarium isn’t ideal for succulents. It will encourage higher humidity which will make the soil moist for longer. Keep in mind that succulents live in dry regions and deserts. It being sold as good for succulents is just marketing.

This terrarium has a built in fan that keeps humidity down and I don’t water too often.
