Can someone tell me what’s going on with my Echeveria Gibbiflora? This guy totally decided to lean hard….😂😂😂😂

Is this normal?

It looks like your Echeveria gibbiflora is experiencing what’s known as “etiolation” or stretching. This usually happens when the plant isn’t getting enough light, causing it to grow long and lean in search of more sunlight. Succulents like Echeveria thrive in bright, direct light, so increasing the amount of sunlight it receives should help it grow more compact and upright.

You can either move it to a brighter location or use a grow light to provide additional light. Additionally, consider rotating the plant periodically to ensure all sides receive even light, which can help prevent it from leaning in one direction. Pruning the elongated stem may also be an option if you’d like to encourage more compact growth.
