# I'm curious if my tiger tooth is stressed or if it's normal for them…

I'm curious if my tiger tooth is stressed or if it's normal for them to turn reddish during hot months. I'm in Arizona and we've had a fierce summer, it's just not cooling down and this little guy has been in direct sunlight for most of the summer. Also, does anyone know if it'll turn green again??

They are stressed, they’re supposed to be green not orange.

False! This is called sun stressing and is often preferred by the plant. This is totally fine

It’s totally fine that they’re red. Sun stressing doesn’t harm the plant. If you move it somewhere less bright they will go green again eventually
