# Does anyone know what’s wrong with my plant? I’ve tried not watering…

Does anyone know what’s wrong with my plant? I’ve tried not watering it as everyone says it does well without. But I must’ve only watered it a couple weeks ago.  
Any suggestions?

If the leaves are dried up and shriveled then you need to water it if the leaves get mushy and fall off it’s overwatering. A good way to know to water is if all the leaves get a little squishy

Well it’s definitely not getting enough water. I don’t think the schedule in and of itself is necessarily the issue. Is that 3 plants I see in the one planter? That’s compounds things a bit. One thing I noticed when I was growing multiple succulents in one planter is that some of them aggressively seek out sources of water. That may be happening here, that the other succulents are soaking up the water before this jade can. So I don’t think watering more often will solve the problem, they really need to be separated.

Thankyou! I bought them together, how would you recommend going about separating them xx

You’ll just need to repot them into different smaller planters. Take special care to separate the roots if they’re tangled together.
