Hello!! I’m new to the succulent world and I’m diving in head first.

Question: What is the best insecticide to use on my succulents?

I have other plants and have noticed a few gnats around one of my philodendron plant and have treated them but I want to treat my succulents as well.  
I’ve researched and looked at many options but it getting very confusing.  
Any advice would be greatly appreciated and helpful !☺️

I like to mix a pesticide in the water instead of the ones you spray directly on the plant

Maybe get or make a gnat trap I think Walmart or Lowe's sells some

I use a neem oil spray on all my plants (including my large selection of cacti \& succas) - I personally hate the way it smells but it does the job with no ill effects that I've ever detected. Just make sure you don't spray it into the breeze unless you really like the smell of neem.
