I have a pink butterfly kalanchoe. I had it in my office window. It looks a bit leggy to me, so I’m moving it outside. I have it in the shade today but will gradually give it more sunshine. My plan is to keep it outside until the temps drop to 50 at night.

What else should I do to help with its growth while it is outside?

There are 3 leaves on the bottom of the stem that just lay on the soil. Could I clip those and propagate?

I have a different kalanchoe and pruned it and propped in water. Roots sprouted very fast!!

It doesn’t seem to be liking the outdoors any better.
