# Does anyone know what’s wrong with my panda plant? I’ve had it for…

Does anyone know what’s wrong with my panda plant? I’ve had it for awhile and it hasn’t grown at all and all its leaves have fallen off. I keep it in my windowsill, is that too much or too little light? Or could it be overwatered or under watered?

Could be over watering, definitely. I have the most luck with succulents when they're in terracotta or unfinished ceramic pots and with succulent \& cacti soil (I usually get a bag of premixed and then add more sand and some rocks for good measure). The pot in particular is important for me anyway - it's really hard to overwater in a pot that can breathe the way terracotta does.

Ironically I just tried to water propagate a panda plant (I always stick my props in dirt) and I'm having great luck. It's been less than a week and it's already got several roots started. Since you have all those leaves, it might be worth a shot!

You not lying about a week ago I just dropped this bad boy in this succulent organic soil one water soak that same day last week. And just a few hours ago i checked him and he had 3 white little roots. This is my 1st shot and I am a beginner I’m super excited‼️😊🙏🏽
