# Ive been wanting a "Firestick" cactus for a while \& now I have one.…

Ive been wanting a "Firestick" cactus for a while \& now I have one. Am really happy with its coloring \& shape but wondering about the dried tips. I suspect they are the dried stems (?) where it flowered and that they'll eventually drop off?

Any care tips?

I suggest bright indirect light and good draining soil. I would also be careful because it can irritate the skin sometimes.

Yours looks a lot better than mine. Mine is not as full. And I cannot get it to color up. I had it under a very bright grow light and the tips were getting burned. Yours looks very good. Mine has same ends. I think that’s from taking cuttings. FYI they root very quickly in water.
