Is this pot too big for my aloe Vera? It’s been in there for about a year or longer now and the roots appear to be healthy. I have a terracotta pot about half the size of it but I’m not sure if it’ll support its weight. I’m also concerned about the darkness at its base being rot but it has healthy roots isn’t making sense to me.

Don't use a clear cup. It promotes the growth of algae. Use a 6" terracotta with standard cactus soil. Plant and don't water for a couple weeks while that spot dries out.
