There’s a little friend growing from a loose leaf on my succulent. What would you do? The main plant has been dropping leaves but the main stem isn’t rotting and I couldn’t find any root problems. The top leaves on the main plant are also sorta bending. Is it trying to shield its stem from the nearby growlight?

Succulents tend to grow extra friends from nodes on the stem. I would leave it for now and break it off (if you’re dying to) when it’s bigger and repot it in a small pot. Or leave it and see where it goes!

I realized this morning that the leaf it was holding onto had dropped and it was just lying on the soil so I decided to let it be and see what happens.
