# Thinking into Nova’s future…how can I promote her trunk to grow…

Thinking into Nova’s future…how can I promote her trunk to grow thicker to support more new growth up top? She’s my first successful Jade cutting from my Moms 50+ year old plant! She’s been transplanted into this pot for nearly 4 months now. I love the new little branch she developed since!

She’s looking great! Keeping her pruned will help promote the truck to grow thick and strong

As long as I keep the top balanced well over what trunk she does have she’ll stay happy!? 😃 Thanks Morgan! I had also heard something about holding off on watering until she is real thirsty will cause thickness…myth or true?
